Next 8th of october the V edition of the Gourmet Race, an exquisite regatta, will take place in Moraira. 35 boats will take part under the slogan “cocinar navegando” which means cook while navegating and consist in a sport-ludic event unique in Spain specially focused in the gastronomy. The basic idea is that the crew members of each boat must cook a recipe while navegating, which the principal ingredient is the same for all the participating sailors and it must be a product from the sea giving by the organizing committee.
This edition, the president of the committee will be the very well known French chef Joël Robuchon, with 30 Michelin stars, and another gastronomy figures like Echanove, Cuchita Lluch, Dani García and our dear Bárbara Amorós will take part too.
As in the last editions, the Swiss Hotel Moraira will be represented with the boat named “Otro Capricho” from the shipowner María Siscar (winner of the 2nd edition) and our chef Pedro Rubio.
